A few weeks ago I posted about a custom ring that is being made for me by Fish Head. The custom design process has been extremely interesting and I have been enjoying sharing it with everyone. Well, some more status updates have been brought to me and I am glad to share them. If you’d like to read about how the ring started, click here for the previous post.
The above photo gives you a good idea of how Richard cuts stones himself in order to customize odd sizes and shapes. The end result will transform the oval shaped Chrysoprase stone into a square shaped one. The next steps now are cutting and polishing the stone, finish the rough casting of the ring and finally, set the stone! Stay tuned for further updates! Special thanks to Richard of Fish Head for sending me these fascinating updates!
