SPONSORED.   It was just 8 years ago, I was visiting LA on my #JewelryRoadTrip and had Jogani Gallery on my list of places to visit. I was floored by all the gems, the museum-quality jewels and could easily see how passionate owner Anup was about his love for hunting down rare stones. My visit took place downtown LA in a private office space, which was then home to the gallery. Fast forward to just recently, after years of planning, their new digs opened its doors in Silver Lake a hop, skip and jump away from the hustle and bustle of downtown LA.

The space exudes a feeling of warmth, paired with being its own oasis, and comparable to an artist’s loft. It is a place you are excited to visit and will continue to look forward to any/all future events. When creating this space, Anup wanted it to not only be their own space to showcase their inventory, but a collaborative place to host jewelry industry events, have learning-centered conversations and invite designers on residency. If you take a look at the interior shots of the gallery, you’ll quickly notice it doesn’t look like your ordinary jewelry store. I foresee lots of intriguing speakers, fun nights on the balcony deck and exciting trunk shows.

Anup says, “Trunk shows will be the mainstay of the space! We have a few private events on our lush rooftop Deck, and are thinking of hosting more informative chats with gemologists, dealers, craftsmen. Really open up the curtains to our interesting trade. There is an immense amount of collecting knowledge I want to impart out there to the world, especially about gemstones.
For our Inaugural event we are having Scout Larue Willis singing and curating jewels – making it a real intersection of art and jewels.”

Hopefully when I start traveling again I’ll get the opportunity to visit. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this space and if you are or know of a jewelry designer that is looking to do a trunk show in the LA area, feel free to get in contact.

Can’t stop by or are not local? No problem! Their website is packed with eye candy galore and is constantly being updated. You will find new pieces that are for sale under “Our Collection”  where you’ll find full descriptions of pieces along with price. And don’t miss their “Diary” which is a blog-centric section of their page with tons of information on a variety of gemstones and jewelry news/happenings. Many congrats to the Jogani team!
