Taking place over multiple days, this highly anticipated event promises to be a treasure trove of remarkable pieces that will captivate collectors and enthusiasts alike. I have so many pieces “favorited” and ready to place bids on and I know you will too. Many of these pieces come from a Lookout Mountain estate and I know I mostly talk about jewelry on this platform, but if you’re into designer fashion this sale has lots of never worn, new-with-tags, pieces featuring Chanel, Dior, Prada, Hermes, etc. So, grab your bidding paddles and join me as we explore some of the standout lots that you won’t want to miss.

Here are my top ten picks from the Case Antiques Auction:

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 289: I had to go for the big diamonds right away – and for me, big diamonds are actually attainable via auction because you can’t beat those secondhand prices. This particular ring also gives you a big look for a lower price – even the lower color grade helps out on the pricing scale too. The center stone is approximately 2.74 carats, along with that fun wide, all-diamond band.. Estimate: $7000-8000

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 309: These juicy heart earrings immediately caught my attention – they are handcrafted in 18k yellow gold and set with tourmalines. They would be fun to wear as they would add color and pizzaz to any outfit – definitely a summer-time staple. Estimate: $1800-1900

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 323: I’m always looking out for charm bracelets at auction – I just love the nostalgia behind them and being preowned, they usually have a story to tell through each charm. This particular charm bracelet includes 14 charms, each very unique and meaningful to the previous owner, but ready to find a new life. I love the high heeled shoes and poodle charm, especially that pearl collar on the poodle. The piece weighs over 40 grams, so keep that in mind as a bidder! Estimate: $1400-1500

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 687: Speaking of charm bracelets, if you’ve been wanting to start your own this bracelet is the perfect blank canvas to start collecting! I love the width of it and the many opportunities for charms to hang, unlike an ordinary straight linked bracelet. It is 7 inches long and weighs 51.14 grams. Estimate: $1700-1800

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 692: I’m loving the colors of these earrings – I’m a huge fan of blues and greens and these take both colors and puts them on display. The light blue stones are blue topaz and they are set in 18k gold with enamel. I bet these look gorgeous worn! Estimate: $1500-1600

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 704: This flat byzantine style Italian gold bracelet makes my list because I used to own this exact bracelet! I had it in my personal collection for a couple years and decided to part with it about a year ago. Sometimes I regret selling it and I love seeing its twin out in the marketplace because I know I can add it back to my collection again. I might be bidding on this! Estimate: $1100-1200

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 887: This ring has so many features that I adore – the black enamel, the old cut diamonds, the elongated style, a unique take on a cross…I could go on! It is currently a size 7.5 and the catalog features extra close-up photos of those antique old Mine cut diamonds, which are superb. Estimate: $1000-1100

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 1031: Talk about a rare find! These watch chains + fobs are getting harder to come across and this particular one is such a beautiful one! I love the bird motif on the fob and the gold scrollwork on the 18k gold chain. I can easily see this styled to perfection, layered with other antique chains. Estimate: $700-800

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 1043: I had to include this crown necklace in my picks because it is so fun! I love all the colors used in this piece, all of which are natural gemstones like sapphires, rubies and emeralds – there’s one CZ in the mix but that can easily be swapped out for a diamond by a jeweler. What a cool find! Estimate: $500-600

Case Antiques - July 2023

Lot 1054: How many collectors in our jewelry community are obsessed with heart padlocks?! So many! ย This would make the perfect addition to any of their collections. It features a cabochon garnet and set in 9k yellow gold. The chain is 9k gold as well and is a lovely barrel style, which is totally unique. Estimate: $400-500

Case Auction

Lot 1205: Designer jewelry with original box?! Such a rare find, and Case Auctions has this and a few others in this sale. Two rings – the Osmose ring, size 54, with original retail tag (!!); and one Chaine D’Ancre Enchianee ring – both with original boxes. Estimate: $400-500
