It’s no secret that Nashville is a hot spot for all things wedding; from elopements, to bachelor & bachelorette parties, and everything in between! I was excited to get to be a part of a fun styled shoot for a makeshift elopement (real-life couple, not real wedding) and lend some jewelry for both the bride and the groom. The aesthetic of the shoot was eclectic bohemian, so my antique pieces were ideal. We chose a Native American turquoise brooch/pendant worn as a necklace for the main focal point, adding the “something blue” to the wedding day. Also went bold for the earrings, using my opalized fossilized wood custom dangle earrings, which added to the boho vibe. With the rings, a navette diamond and pearl was the showstopper of the bunch, being a bold pinky ring which I just love for a wedding day. We also did a solitaire Victorian diamond ring as a midi-ring, which was badass and opted for an old mine cut diamond solitaire as the engagement ring. I love opals for a wedding, especially if they can be symbolic in some way, so the jelly opal ring was also in the mix. All these pieces are available in my shop, just check out @shopGEMGOSSIP.
Thanks for having me be a part of this epic elopement shoot — below you’ll find all the people involved, with links to their websites. I highly recommend them if you are planning a wedding or elopement of your own. Carrie of SWAK Photography has done several shoots for me and I love her photography style, so check out her work if you’re trying to find a wedding photographer!
