Herringbone 101: this style of necklace is surging in popularity. I wore a really narrow one every day in high school. I remember scrapping mine after years of wear — it had so many kinks in it, it hardly could lay flat.
I feel like there’s two types of herringbones — one that has a satin finish and often “catches” on sweaters and hair. And another type that is far heavier, smoother and often vintage. Be aware when buying them of the difference and also the mm width!
The one I’m wearing here is 4mm in width and super heavy.
