#gemgossipturns18 ‼️
In 2013 I was on my computer checking my emails and sadly replying to all the cool invites I was getting to jewelry events or store openings happening in NYC and LA. I was suddenly annoyed by living in Nashville as a jewelry blogger, where it seemed like hopping on a plane was the only way to have access to gorgeous jewels.
Then I thought of this: “if I can’t come to the jewels, why not have the jewels come to me..?!” And that’s how #jewelsatmydoorstep was born! So several of the first features I did absolutely free to show what my vision was.
These shoots were usually done by Matt or my mom - I would scout out a location and put together an outfit based on the jewelry. It was so fun!
Eventually the shoots got really popular and I began to charge $ and hire a professional photographer. These photos feature some of the most early shoots I did, I’ll tag all I can (the first image is Bochic who are no longer a brand).
