By the way. Garnets are not Hexagonal. They are Isometric, rhombic and dodecahedron. Hence singly refractive.
All Hexagonal gems are doubly refractive. Sapphire and Quartz.

I think most of the people really don't believe the healing power of pearls but everyone believes and love wear it to be most beautiful among all. Most of my friends love to wear jewelries of cultured freshwater pearls though they don't feel any healing power. Anyway, beaut is a power itself.
