Endless talk of all things sparkly.

2010 Met Gala Jewelry

Did you see all the Met Gala action from last night? I have been enjoying the jewelry that many of the celebrities were seen in, and received an extensive list from Fred Leighton of all the women (and a few men!) that wore their jewels. Above, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is seen wearing a stack of chocolate and white diamond bracelets on her right arm, along with a bold, structural bracelet on her left arm.  I love her entire look, I feel she was best dressed for the night.

Above is Sarah Jessica Parker’s Met Gala jewelry, which definitely stood out to me. I loved all her bracelets and I especially like the extensive variety–she mixed 1930s, with 1920s and even 1950s pieces. All bracelets are Fred Leighton and here are the details: 1930’s diamond and platinum clusters bracelet, 1930’s diamond and platinum bracelet, diamond link bracelet in platinum, Art Deco diamond bracelet in platinum, 1930’s diamond and open link bracelet in platinum, 1950’s yellow and blue sapphire cuff in gold and top it all off with a 9 carat antique cushion cut diamond ring!  Amazing!

Jessica Stam was my other favorite–her Met Gala jewelry reminds me of an Italian mobster’s wife. Just stunning, bold gold. Her jewelry is actually vintage Bulgari. It just goes so well with the dress!

What were some of your favorites?
