Well, the Cannes film festival has commenced and the color GOLD is still fresh on everyone’s minds. I wouldn’t be surprised if next year’s color of the year will be announced as GOLD. From the gold dresses, to the gold jewelry, gold shoes, and even gold tattoos! I think the show not only proved to be an extreme success (by raising awareness and over $25 million for AIDS) but it also proved the timelessness of gold jewelry and how it can stand alone.
