Exactly one year ago I launched my first collaboration with gemstone experts Parle Gems. Our focus was on Intarsia because of my obsession with this intricate gemstone inlay artistry and they had a bunch sitting in their vault, waiting to come to life! Now we’re at it again, this time using my favorite gemstone, and this month’s birthstone, OPAL. We’ve paired a few with my favorite cool toned gems, like turquoise and moonstone, to create some soothing, dreamy jewels.
Many of the rings have an elongated silhouette — a look that is prominent in my personal jewelry collection. I love a bold ring! We also put a spin on my engagement ring, which is a two-stone diamond bypass style — which looks incredible as a pear-shaped version in opal (we also added turquoise). The earrings are long and elegant, with a modern twist. And the two pendants came from an intarsia pendant I had made from collecting smaller intarsia inlay pieces and putting them all together into one pendant. I love the notion of collecting loose gemstones and mishmashing them together to form one cohesive piece.
Thanks Parlé again (two years in a row now) for this wonderful opportunity and you can shop all the pieces here!
