Gold Initial Pendants for Mother’s Day

This year’s Mother’s Day celebrations may be a little different than any other year. We might be confined to a video chat or simply waving from a distance. We might be unemployed, unsure of the future, or feeling major anxiety. Some of us might even be forever changed with all that has happened since the beginning of this year. A holiday like Mother’s Day can and should still be celebrated, because it is the meaning behind this special day that outweighs anything else that is going on.

Mothers are so important — they’re the backbone of families, the provider, the selfless warrior that continues to give and love, no matter what is happening. When I became a mother last year, I realized from the moment Gino was born that he now comes first. I will do anything to make sure he is happy and healthy. My appreciation for my own mother has heightened and it is a wonderful feeling.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, I’ve compiled some of my most favorite gold initial charms. These make great gifts — easy because an initial can represent her first name, or her child’s name (or even a favorite mantra), and you don’t need to know the correct size. An initial charm always fits! Initials are really popular right now and I love how so many designers are putting their own spin to them, creating beautiful, unique fonts, and adapting them to fit their style. I remember how popular initials and monograms were in the early 2000s and it is fun to see them coming back.
