Just wanted to update everyone with what is going on! I am really happy to announce that I have began my pursuit of the Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA. Three weeks ago I began the Diamond Essentials course and just finished, submitting my 50 question final exam moments ago! Can’t wait to get started on the next course, which is more intense. If you’ve taken courses from GIA, feel free to chat with me about your experience, I’d love to hear!
Gem Gossip continues to grow each day with more readers and soon I will be able to devote more time to writing/researching/posting. We have a few spots for advertising open as well, so if you are interested send me an email, charitybracelet@gmail.com
Above is a recent photo I shot for Walton’s Antique Jewelry. I love this Art Deco engagement ring, with the blue sapphire accents. Makes it so much more unique.
Thanks for reading. xoxo

good luck with your course! I did Gem-A’s diploma in gemmology and the practical test was nerve wracking! Been flirting with the idea of doing the additional diamond and pearl courses…

I am ready to take my final for diamond essential part 1, I know you took this awhile back but was wondering if you could tell me how hard it was it says it is open book with 50 questions and there are three times to take it.
