Being a well-accessorized woman is the newest craze and rightfully so, this summer it is all about the accessories. The shoes, the bags, the sunglasses–even the phone cases! What is most important, and what will last throughout many years to come are the jewels! Pieces of fine jewelry that will last throughout one’s lifetime and span all seasons; an important accessory that will grow along with you and your tastes.  Fellows Auctions always has pieces of fine jewelry just like that–both cool and fun, as well as classic and timeless. Their Antique & Modern Sale coming up on June 18th, 2015 has just the right pieces that will go nicely with the four new accessories I am buying for this summer (all available at NastyGal). Hopefully these choices will give you some inspiration for getting excited about summer and bright, colorful jewelry!

Accessory #1: The bold, colorful bag

Lot 23: An early 20th century opal and diamond ring with British hallmarks.  The opal shows a mostly blue play-of-color and is such a pretty pop of intensity that will brighten any dull summer outfit.

Lot 57: The hippest rainbow you can have hanging from your neck!  This fringe necklace is set with some of the most exquisite gemstones of the world–zircon, sapphire, ruby and spinel, which all graduate in size.

Lot 151: Dangle two rainbows from your ears with these dainty sapphire earrings.  Each earring is set with an oval shape sapphire of varying hues–dark orange, pink, orange, green and yellow.  Fun and flirty, yet classic at the same time.

Accessory #2: The cool phone case

Lot 217: A bohemian emerald crescent necklace, perfect for layering with other precious necklaces.  The silhouette of this one is very flattering to the neckline–plus, those emeralds!!

Lot 265: Everyone needs an 18k yellow gold alligator pin, right?!  The diamond eye makes him extra special…a definite summer-time staple for anyone’s wardrobe.  Clip it on your shirt, skirt or even your shoe!

Lot 623: The most stunning Columbian emerald and diamond ring!  If you’re someone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime emerald ring, this is it!

Accessory #3: The 70s-inspired platform shoes

Lot 128: This intensely hued garnet brooch will set off any summer blazer with its bold pinkish orange color.  Those are some fiery garnets!  I also love the shape of the design, a nice elongated look.

Lot 324: A diamond and ruby halo ring, set with an Old European cut diamond in the center surrounded by neon pink rubies.  This would be perfect for a summer-time wedding!

Lot 726: An art nouveau amethyst and enamel brooch, having a cool geometric look.  The amethyst is surrounded by intricate rose cut diamonds in a leafy pattern.

Accessory #4: Stylish pair of black sunglasses

Lot 6: A little bit of a dangle and edge is what I love about these earrings.  The black is onyx carved into a marine-link, hanging with yellow gold and a splash of diamonds.

Lot 340: Sleek and slightly masculine, this onyx and diamond ring falls into the same category as “boyfriend jeans.” You can’t go wrong with a gold/black combination, especially when it mixes in diamonds!

Lot 818: I am so obsessed with this gold mesh coin purse–I love the details on the frame and the closure–ruby and garnet, and sapphire cabochons.  How cool would it be to pay for groceries out of that?!
