The MET Ball this year had an edgy theme forcing celebrities and attendees to get creative and step out of their comfort zone–PUNK. Overall, I thought there were several looks that I especially loved, including some awesome jewelry choices. But there were also many more fashion missteps where the PUNK look got taken too far, and turned into something cheesy.
My two favorite looks of the night were Miranda Kerr and Rooney Mara. Miranda’s sleekness of her cut-out black dress was amazing, and her Cartier jewels were the perfect accessory. A closeup of her jewels is shown above on the left. Rooney Mara’s dress made me immediately call up my mom and ask her if she could make me that exact dress for my wedding–I liked it THAT much! I also liked that she chose delicate gold rings to accompany her look.
