Red carpets, awards season, prommotions, movie premieres–celebrities have lots of events they need to look glamourous for, and lately they’ve been showstopping. I love seeing celebrities try new designers or try new statement jewelry. Big, bold earrings are always perfect for the red carpet, and seeing unique designs and gemstones being worn is awesome. Love the looks of all the celebrities above so far in 2012–do you have any favorite celebrity jewelry looks for this year?

Ahhh, red carpet jewelry. A guilty pleasure of mine! I especially love those first couple sets of earrings.

Wow such unique looks from such a broad range of women! I love this blog because it shows more than just the popular looks from the red carpet and instead displays unique pieces and personal style. Rashida Jones' earrings showcase spectacular colors and Miley Cyrus' diamond mini-hoops make me want to have as many ear piercings as she does! Rihanna picks amazing pieces as always. Thank you Gem Gossip for yet another great post!

Hello!
I wanted to reach out and tell you about Threads of Friendship, a trendy-chic jewelry line of embellished bracelets with rhinestones and charms. The line was inspired by Andrea Barna and Kollene McGinley. (www.threadsoffriendship.com)
Currently we are selling at Blue and Cream on The Bowery and Westhampton this summer, and also Fifth on Maine, with a store coming to SOHO.
We have sample requests from major department stores and specialty stores all over the world.
We were contacted by CBS and featured in the segment Gifts that Give Back as well as Yahoo Shine! http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2011/12/07/gifts-that-give-back/
The bracelets are for a good cause as $2.00 from the sale of each bracelet is donated to the Best Buddies charity and the Walkabout foundation.
We would love to be included in any editorial you have coming up.
