I have developed a love for Victorian bracelets since working at Walton’s Antique Jewelry. Especially the ones that are in perfect-never-before-worn condition. And yes, there are many out there in that sort of condition. I have a tiny wrist, and when I come across a Victorian bangle bracelet that will snap on and fit snug, I take that as a sign from above–“Danielle, this was made for you.” Needless to say my collection and appreciation is growing.
Above are three from my collection–from top to bottom: 14k yellow gold hand-engraved Victorian snap-on bangle, 14k yellow gold Victorian filigree link bracelet with amethyst, 10k yellow gold Greek key motif Victorian snap-on bangle with black enameling.

How come there are so many bangles out there in "never-worn" condition? Have people bought them and just never worn them (and then passed on their jewelry in their estate), or were they never purchased to begin with and are part of some long-standing jewelry shop's inventory?
It's mind-boggling to think that there's 150-year-old jewelry that's never been purchased or worn!!

I love bangles, so classic. The greek key bangle is beautiful.

It's great to see these classically inspired designs in 10k yellow gold. Modern designers seem reluctant to refer to classic design motifs, which is a real shame as many modern materials would work very well with ideas such as classic Greek key and maze patterns.

WOW! Some beautiful pieces. As much as i adore them all i do feel the amethyst bracelet is standing out ! All three are very impressive pieces though, and also very good finds as they look immaculate in terms of condition.
