My sister-in-law recently got married and I had the pleasure of helping her pick out jewelry for her special wedding day. King Jewelers offered to loan Caitlin anything she wanted, which was music to any girl’s ears, especially ours! What a wonderful gesture and we both can’t thank King Jewelers enough.
Our styling session took into account lots of things, like the dress style, hair style, and location of the wedding. We ended up choosing these beautiful diamond chandelier earrings that had a tear-drop dangle motif — these complemented her engagement ring really well and were perfect for her side-swept hair style. With the earrings being so statement-making, we opted for a simple necklace since her neckline did have a lot of empty space, we figured a necklace needed to happen even with the large earrings. The Mikimoto drop pearl was perfect and even tied in with Caitlin’s immediate instinct of wanting pearls for her wedding day. So glad I was able to still incorporate that for her. Lastly, the pièce de résistance was the diamond bracelet which was bold and a definite ode to Meghan Markle’s wedding day diamond bracelet.
The day was so, so beautiful — with the glorious backdrop of the Smoky Mountains and family from all across the country coming together. It was crazy to see the rain pouring down the entire day and holding off just as it was time to start the ceremony…which then created an incredible rainbow for all to see. What a way to end the day!
Thanks again to King Jewelers for loaning the jewelry.

a photo of the bride in all the jewels would have been nice, don’t you think?

What a beautiful wedding story and such thoughtful jewelry choices! I love how you balanced statement earrings with a simple yet elegant necklace and bracelet to complement the whole look perfectly. It is amazing how meaningful pieces can really tie everything together. Speaking of meaningful accessories I recently saw some stunning police badge jewelry that carries a lot of sentimental value and style for those connected to law enforcement which reminded me of how special wedding jewelry can be.
