For those who are not in the jewelry industry or may not know what a showroom is, my visit with LA’s top jewelry showroom Luxury Brand Group, will help you understand it a bit better. Luxury Brand Group (LBG) is a full-service, brand communications agency which specializes in jewelry. Their team members work with lots of leading publicists, stylists, writers, editors, designers, celebrities, Hollywood influencers and other creatives to help jewelry designers with marketing, brand placement, advertising and PR. The great thing about LBG is how finely attuned each team member is to the jewelry industry because everyone has been involved in this industry from the beginning of their careers. The agency is headed by the friendly, poised industry marketer, Frank Proctor, who came from the fashion and fragrance industries, and was the former VP of Marketing Communications at Platinum Guild International. Being very specialized gives LBG a leg up in every aspect and I’ve loved working with their team!
An exciting aspect of their business is getting placements on celebrities–whether it is for the red carpet, in a magazine shoot, or on television, they’ve executed it all! Other events like award shows, television appearances, morning/afternoon news and entertainment talk shows, style reports, special fashion features, style & travel segments, reality, entertainment and lifestyle programs for product features, and giveaway opportunities are also within their realm and specialty. Luxury Brand Group works with and has connections with people who are responsible for making those things happen on a regular, daily basis! From Gwen Stefani, to Jennifer Lopez, to Sophia Vergara and the stars of Pretty Little Liars, and many, many more, LBG has placed their clients’ jewelry on so many stars for so many occasions! It is just as exciting for them as it is for the designer to see a certain ring, bracelet, necklace or pair of earrings featured in the limelight.
Luxury Brand Group has a private, jewelry-loaning showroom which is located in Los Angeles which is where I had my appointment! The jewelry is beautifully displayed in lucite cases and vintage vitrines, with a modern, open-air loft style space. Also within the space, skylights line overhead, which allow natural lighting to highlight the gorgeous gemstones and diamonds featured within the showroom. I was instantly attracted to their selection of modern jewelry, all of which features a wide variety. Everything from bold, diamond fashion jewelry, to colorful gemstones, even engagement and bridal styles, stackable bands, and everything in between. Getting to know each designer by the jewels themselves was fun and a unique way of going about it, as I usually have the designer themselves present. It was an innovative approach and angle, and I loved it!
Below are some of the jewels and the designers I got to see and feature:
Carizza creates bridal settings and wedding bands with utmost detail, intricately handcrafted and set with sparkly diamonds. The brand is sold in hundreds of stores throughout the US and across the globe! Check out their website for more details, or follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
What is Zultanite?! Only found in one place in the world, Zultanite® is mined in Turkey’s Anatolian Mountains at a remote location 4,000 feet above sea level. As a single mine gemstone, Zultanite®’s genuine rarity is undeniable. The gemstone has a color-change phenomenom, changing from a kiwi green color in sunlight to a champagne color in incadescent lighting. For more information, including a price per carat chart, check out Zultanite.com and follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
VTse Jewelry caught my attention right away! Victoria Tse is the brand owner and creative director of this fun jewelry line which brings color and fine craftsmanship together. The bold green hue of the chrysoprase suite pictured above is a perfect example of what she creates, as well as the photo of the insane oval cut rainbow gemstone necklace (worn as a tiara/headband) plus ring and large drop earrings. See more of VTse Jewelry at their website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Supreme Jewelry is a fun, diamond-centric jewelry line created by Jerry Kiladjian in 1984. Lots of rose gold, cool and trendy rings and ear climbers make up the collection–make sure you check out the rose gold and diamond ear climber in the photos from the top half of the story. So comfortable, with a big look! Check out their website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
I was first introduced to VIANNA BRASIL at VicenzaOro tradeshow in Italy. I love her jewelry and use of colorful gemstones–she creates pieces using her native Brazilian gems and 18k gold. Above, this awesome ring packs a colorful punch in all quartz and 18k gold. Check out more on her website, follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Sylvie Collection is created by a Belgium-born designer Sylvie Levine who continues to have much success in designing jewelry and bridal collections. She’s known for her endless options and feminine and romantic styles. You can see her extensive line on her website, follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
Fortunoff Jewelry has been a 90-year-old legend in the jewelry industry–you may have received their catalogs in the mail over the years like I did! They have a brick-and-mortar boutique on Long Island as well as lots of inventory online to purchase! I love all the rings shown above, including the gemstone necklace I have wrapped around my wrist as a bracelet! So fun! Visit their website, follow on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more!
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, as well as Michael John Jewelry‘s muse as seen here! The company consists of brother Michael & John Hezar who design spectacular jewelry and right-hand fashion rings featuring rose cut diamonds as well as a gorgeous bridal collection. Always fun to follow their hashtags on Instagram such as #MichaelJohnBridal and #MichaelJohnJewelry. Be sure you’re following on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and their full website at MichaelJohnJewelry.com or MichaelJohnBridal.com
