Fashion Forecast from Alisha of Yelo Magazine

chokers-1

Stylist and founder of Yelo Magazine (and cool sister) Alisha arrived back to Nashville from NYC Fashion Week with loads of inspiration and forecasts of trends. I asked her, in terms of jewelry, what were some standout jewelry looks from the runway. Her answer: CHOKERS! Here’s what she had to say:

“Between the accidental perfection in editorials, to the purposeful display in Max Azria’s Fall 2011 collection, the choker is coming back. Sitting at the Max Azria show, my mouth dropped in excitement when I saw the black ribbon-like chokers pass by. I quickly started tweeting about the statement this made, mixed with the polished ponies–I could just see this being the start of an amazing comeback.

Call it a mere hopeful forecast, but the shorter necklace needs to come back. The layering and long necklace has def. stayed passed its welcoming.

Maybe I am missing my fake tattoo choker, whom everyone I know adorned once or twice, but it is clearly evident it is sneaking its way back into our hearts.”
