C Greene first caught my eye when browsing Broken English‘s assortment of jewelry. Everything that appealed to me had a flowery motif, and it happened to be all by the same jewelry designer–C Greene. It just so happens that flowers are C Greene’s main inspiration when creating jewelry. Flowers have been a part of C Greene’s childhood, whether she was making leis for family and friends, or having them all around her in exotic places she lived (Micronesia and French Polynesia).
C Greene’s first attempt at designing jewelry came from wanting to find a unique locket to hold photos of her children. With no luck finding what she had envisioned, she decided to design one herself. Lockets became the very first pieces of jewelry, of what is now an entire jewelry collection. C Greene uses 18k gold, precious & semi-precious gemstones. Flowers continue to be the center of her designs, as well as feminine objects and shapes, particularly Art Nouveau, free flowing style.
