Bonhams will offer a Prominent Private Collection of Fine Jewelry on April 15 at the Madison Avenue saleroom. Amassed over several decades, the 82 lot collection exudes the confidence and glamour of its owner, a noted philanthropist and an undisputed member of the ‘jet set’.
I was lucky enough to be sent their auction catalogs for an up-close view, with details of each piece.
“The collector of these jewels is a woman of great taste and distinguished style, who had personal relationships with a number of jewelers, including Harry Winston, Bulgari, Sabbadini and David Webb. She collected beautiful pieces of excellent quality to wear and enjoy,” explained Susan Abeles, Bonhams US Head of Jewelry. “We are honored to offer this exceptional collection.”
This Prominent Private Collection of Fine Jewelry will be auctioned on April 15 at Bonhams New York. The collection will preview March 17-19 in London at Bonhams New Bond Street, March 22-24 at Bonhams San Francisco, April 5-7 at Bonhams Los Angeles, and April 11-15 at Bonhams New York.
