This past weekend I went on a ten hour road trip with my dad to go back where I call “home” and visit my grandma and sister. I also got the chance to meet up with Lauren of Ageless Heirlooms, and check out the progress on her very own brick and morter shop! Not only were we excited to meet for the first time (after following each other’s similar journeys online) but we had so much to talk about when it came to antique jewelry. We are both very passionate about what we do, so it was a lot of fun.
I also got to see most of her inventory before her new shop opens this November. So many pretty rings! Many of them being from the Victorian Era–lots of garnets, cameos, a three-stone Tooth ring (!!), signet rings, engraved bands, and filigree rings. Her selection is so great because it covers many styles and is at a price point that let’s you easily collect, and purchase several.
The above photos include: a picture of Asti’s Antique Jewelry (where Lauren has worked for the past 7 1/2 years), rings from her inventory and personal collection (if you are interested in any email lauren@agelessheirlooms.com), the dragon ring picture are the ones not for sale. The last photo features two rings that I added to my personal collection from her! They are a cameo ring and a garnet ring from the Victorian Era.
And if you are ever in Buffalo, NY make sure to visit her store–it opens in November 2013! The address is:
