If you ever have your own jewelry shop or have the opportunity (or job description) of creating a vignette for a storefront window, one realizes that it is a lot harder than it seems. I have a huge appreciation for pretty, attention-grabbing storefronts now. I am still unsure as to what to do or where to begin, but these shops can serve for enormous inspiration. Above is a jewelry store called St.Kilda in Brooklyn. Below is Erie Basin, which creates its ambiance using antiques and natural lighting. Below that is a peek inside a vignette-style jewelry case at Made Her Think. I love when designers tell a story with the way they display their jewelry designs–rather than the typical jewelry displays.

Erie Basin always makes me feel like I’m on an archeological dig in the 30s, or something. I love it.

This is a cool looking store. We also have a "boutique" vibe in our store. Check it out http://www.reinersjewelry.com
