I’ve often wondered how big is too big when it comes to rings–especially for someone with tiny hands like myself. But when you see a picture like this, it makes you want to have your very own rectangular rock–like a green tourmaline one. Ever look at green tourmaline in person? The color is a deep, radiant green–very unlike any emerald or peridot. The ring I found here is designed by Jack Vartanian, an amazing Brazilian designer. Done in 18k white gold with side diamonds. So pretty!

I agree with you when questing "how big is too big"? It definitely seems like the new trend is "the bigger the better," but when does it become too gaudy? I think that this one is definitely bordering on too large. What about something like this green tourmaline emerald cut ring>?
