I love discovering new brands when I go to shows, and Sunlit Fine Jewelry happened to be a brand that was new to me! The designer behind the brand, Susan, has a giant love for gemstones and infusing an ancient-like aesthetic into each piece she creates. I love all the textures in her pieces – they add so much character to them. You can really notice the handmade element of her pieces and how craftsmanship is important. Each piece is handmade in NYC!

Favorite piece in your collection: The Earthly Protection Amulet – it’s jet strung through gold, and it has a special place in my heart, because I gave my daughter my middle name Jet after the gemstone. I bought my first piece of jet to make jewelry right after she was born. Jet is actually wood that’s spent millions of years growing up to be a jewel, which I think is pretty cool.
