You may have seen on Instagram that I lost my grandmother last month. She was 84 years old and we naively thought we still had more time with her. My grandma was one of the biggest reasons for my love of jewelry – her trips to her homeland of Italy were an exciting time for my sisters and I, because it meant she would come back with a piece of real Italian gold jewelry for each of us. Her style was also immaculate and people knew her for her sparkly shoes, big sunglasses and always layered in jewelry.
It was really hard to not be at her funeral in New York, but being this pregnant and considered a “high risk” pregnancy, I didn’t want to take any chances. I had been wanting a photo charm of Gino for awhile now and creating these amongst the sadness of losing my grandma truly helped dealing with her loss.

Email hello@gemgossip.com and attach the photo you’d like made into a gold charm. If your photo is a colored photo, it will be colored on the charm – same goes with black & white, it will be black & white on the charm. I have done both colored and black & white, so examples are shown above.

Lead time: once you send your photo, I’ll send over an invoice…once paid, you should receive your charm in 2-3 weeks
