As a collector, I always gravitate towards rings that have some heft to them – I wanna feel like I’m wearing “armor” on my fingers. It is like a security blanket! Heavier, solid rings are also a better choice in the long run in terms of longevity. I’ve noticed buyers have been feeling the same way. As a seller, I’m getting asked more and more to see extra photos of the inside shank of a ring or the gallery of a ring – customers are wanting to see if areas of the ring are hollowed out. All of this is totally a preference, but keeping that in mind when buying rings is a great tip! Do you want to save money and opt for a lighter-weight ring?
