Pretty Little Storefronts

storefront.st.kilda

If you ever have your own jewelry shop or have the opportunity (or job description) of creating a vignette for a storefront window, one realizes that it is a lot harder than it seems. I have a huge appreciation for pretty, attention-grabbing storefronts now. I am still unsure as to what to do or where to begin, but these shops can serve for enormous inspiration. Above is a jewelry store called St.Kilda in Brooklyn. Below is Erie Basin, which creates its ambiance using antiques and natural lighting. Below that is a peek inside a vignette-style jewelry case at Made Her Think. I love when designers tell a story with the way they display their jewelry designs–rather than the typical jewelry displays.
