Gemfields Partners with MUSE, Launches at Couture 2016

It has launched! The GEMFIELDSxMUSE collaboration has landed at Couture in Las Vegas this year and everyone is buzzing about it! Gemfields teamed up with 10 designers, including Nikos Koulis, Yossi Harari and Dezso by Sara Beltrán, each of whom has created a suite of jewelry which launched simultaneously both at Couture and for consumers (online at TWIST and Moda Operandi). The collection uses rubies and emeralds, both alone and mixed, and incorporates them into exclusive designs--all gemstones have been sourced responsibly by Gemfields. I got to view the entire collection first-hand as I arrived to Las Vegas and started off my jewelry gazing for the week.

The GEMFIELDSxMUSE partnership aims at bringing rubies and emeralds to fashion-forward consumers at all price points. A great example of this, the delicate layer-ready pieces by Michelle Fantaci start at $880, all the way up to a cascading ruby and diamond necklace featuring 8.70 carats of Gemfields Rubies, and 13.50 carats of rose cut diamonds by Yossi Harari, priced at $86,106. I enjoyed choosing pieces that caught my eye and styling a few different looks (shown above).

The ten designers within the collaboration with Gemfields & MUSE: Carolina Bucci, Dezso by Sara Beltrán, Elena Votsi, Holly Dyment, Michelle Fantaci, Nikos Koulis, Savannah Stranger, Silvia Furmanovich, Yossi Harari and AYA by Chelsy Davy.

This post was brought to you in collaboration with Gemfields.

Arik Kastan has turned it up a notch with this ring design. Yes, you're seeing matte gold on this piece! The Flower Mandala ring is very zen, yet it is given a little kick by using such a rich color story with the deep garnets and eye-popping turquoise in the center--your new favorite gem combo. This looks incredible on the finger!

NEW RING STACKS

Make 2014 start off with a bang by adding or recreating your ring stack! Arik Kastan rings are the prodigies of ring stacking! Whether you go for big, bold cocktail rings, like the Queen's Sceptre in a favorite gemstone combination, or small stackables, like our round cluster rings or three-stone staples.

An exciting addition to our repertoire are new gemstones and gemstone combinations. We also added some new styles--can you spot them? Splashes of lapis brighten up our original pieces and we're excited to introduce this gemstone into our collection! We went crazy for champagne diamonds and are really loving the different saturations of color with amethyst--one really light purple and one really deep! Garnet and turquoise is our latest power couple--we are loving the rich garnet color contrasting with the bright blue.

NEW BRACELET STACKS

We can't forget our wrists! This year add a new bangle or vintage inspired bracelet from Arik Kastan to your arm party. We are obsessed with two newest additions to our bracelet brigade--the chunky square-link bracelet (pictured far left) and an etched bangle (pictured bottom right) both in Arik Kastan signature rose gold. We love how they compliment any bracelet stack and can remix any look!

Stud Earrings from TWIST

My love affair with rings needs to calm down, so I am diverting towards stud earrings.  I found some amazing pairs over at TWIST, a jewelry boutique located in the Pacific Northwest of the US (Portland & Seattle).  Their selection is the best-of-the-best in terms of new designers.  Now the next step would be to fly out there and try on each pair! Maybe in another lifetime!
